The name Afrefena is derived from the Variant of the Russian ‘Agripena’ meaning ‘wild horse’. The route is introduced in 2022. Agrefena-1000 is designed for those who love wild challenges, and it would be a great experience for those who are going to participate in LEL 2022 and PBP 2023 The route was engineered on GIS by plotting the elevation contours across Chennai and then creating a track keeping view of constant increase and drop in gradient to give the feeling of roller coaster. The route was recede by our volunteers and the details of the CP’s and other required information was also gathered which will be shared with you on GPX file. The track is dived into four stages namely stage{1,2,3,4}. Stage-1 until stage-3 the track remains challenging, and then it gives you the hope of touching the finish line
