Pondy Pedalers will be hosting its first ever long BRM ride being "Melumalai 600". Ride starts from Aurovelo Bicycles stores, Auroville and travels across fast lanes of Tindivanam , Beautiful rocky terrains of Gingee/Arnee and merges again into fast lanes of Vellore-Bangalore Highway. Next 120 kms will be roller coaster ride on highway overlooking th eastern ghats where riders will travel across many Biryani joints and leather factories of Ambur before reaching krishnagiri. This is where ride will get spiced up, as riders have to overcome headwinds, cold as well the mighty ghats of Melumalai before reaching the U turn point at McDonalds, Shoolagiri. Return would be pretty much easy as riders will pick up the tailwinds as well the downhill sections. Strenous Efforts of the riders would be paid with authentic biryani in ambur and giving them enough to propel until they reach Arnee CP. Post this riders will be picking up the super fast downhill sections and highways in order to making it back to Aurovelo Stores.
