Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/EGLDKmVrnLD2 https://www.strava.com/routes/3693604 The BRM starts from Malhar Point on Old Padra Road and riders will proceed north towards Chakli circle and past Ambedkar circle. Stay right at the fork in the road at Trident mall and proceed towards Fatehgunj via Genda circle and Shastri bridge. After descending Shastri bridge, stay left of the new bridge under construction and take a left turn onto New Chhani road / Nizampura Main Road. Continue straight until you reach the highway leading to Ahmedabad via NH-8 / SH-188 / NH-228. Keep riding this main highway which will connect you to Ahmedabad's Sardar Patel Ring Road. First Control Point is at Saubhagya Hotel just a few hundred feet on the left of the Aslali check post circle on SP Ring Road. You will get refreshments at this hotel. Ride marshal will also be available at CP to stamp your brevet card before you head towards Mehsana. You will next ride towards Gandhinagar via SP Ring Road (clock-wise) and turn left at Vaishnodevi circle towards Gandhinagar. Then you will take exit towards Mehsana before you reach Gandhinagar. You will continue riding on SH-41 till you reach Mehsana. The next control point is in Mehsana at Darshan Restaurant. Ride Marshal will stamp your brevet card here before you proceed further to Palanpur and onwards to Hotel Bhagyoday near Iqbalgadh. This hotel will be the turn-around point. You will ride back to Baroda via the same route. The finish point will be unmanned at the SBI ATM on the Old Padra Road, Baroda where you must swipe your debit card to mark your arrival time at finish point. This route is fairly flat with no major climbs except the bridges & flyovers on the highway. As this route is via national & state highways, the road conditions are expected to be good & clean with plenty of establishments along the highway for hydration / rest breaks and purchase refreshments. There will be no tree cover on the national highway.
